From living in California and Hawaii to studying in Qatar and Spain, and serving in places like Iraq and Afghanistan, my experiences across the world have shaped my worldview and deepened my understanding of people beyond perception. Traveling throughout Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, and the Middle East allowed me to move beyond what I was told and experience cultures, communities, and humanity for myself.
